My First Two Mods!!
 

Well I just did the first 2 mods on my X5. I learned about them from this site and I must say there is a wealth of information here!

1. I did the panoramic sunroof mod that stops the rear glass from lifting. Saw
it here as a connection to Youtube. Followed the instructions and it
worked perfectly.

2. The rear lower gate was making a heck of a lot of noise. Did the
"electrical tape" trick on it and no more noise!! Going to keep reading this
site.

Both mods sound interesting but I've never heard of either one.

I got the back gate tape mod off of this site.

I still don't get it. Why are you changing it, is there an issue with the rear venting?

I would call both of these items "repairs" instead of mods. OP, glad you solved both your problems. But, like Dalecan, I am unaware of inherent issues with the panoramic roof. Regardless, thanks for posting link to Youtube video in the event my sunroof develops whatever fault issue caused your problems.
