2009 30i - use Mobile 1 5W-30?
 

I'm getting ready for an oil change - in 800 miles, according to the service indicator.
I always used M1 5W-30 in the E53. Is that OK for the E70?

I've used that oil in all my BMWs for almost 15 yrs and 250,000 miles combined. Buy it in the 5qt jugs at Walmart; that's the best value on it. 3 jugs = 2 oil changes.

I hope you change it more often than the 15k mile service recommendation? I never go more than 10,000 between changes; but shoot for about 7-8,000 miles between changes.
