any recommendations for summer tires? I have Nokian Hakkapeliitta's on another set of wheels that is for winter/snow use and I would prefer proper summer tires instead of all seasons on my other set of wheels

Do some research on tirerack for that specific tire. It is crap.

What I cannot tell you is if your dissatisfaction is due to the RFT aspect of that crappy tire, or just that crappy tire. If you were on a michelin latitude RFT and didnt like the ride, Id say for sure go to a non-rft design. (On a latitude RFT you are on the best handling RFT design, IME...if that still isnt adequate, time to change) But the dueler is in a lower class than the michelins... they arent even compared head to head.

Looking at the 'spider chart' for the Dueler, you can see what bridgestone gives them to BMW for $10 a piece....

Good luck

Good to know, my wife already complained about how stiff it was and turning the steering was tighter also, so was already contemplating of changing the tires. The other day when it snowed a bit she could fell it slipping everywhere and moved it up my priority list to get done.:)
