Reverse light upgrade question - will this work?
 

Was searching for LED strips for inside my snowmobile trailer and came across this on ebay.
Do you guys think this may work as a reverse light if mounted under the vehicle, angled towards the back? Or maybe smaller ones of this design. Not sure if there will be error messages if this is done. Looking at the videos of the light, it looks pretty bright.

Any thought?

Take the power from another trailer plug.

That looks more like an underglow kit type of thing

Should be fine as long as it doesnt rain nor freeze where you live....

Its not underglow, its LED strip for under cabinets but its very bright. It would have be be mounted on the bottom of the vehicle and angled back a bit so it illuminates the ground, sort of like a fog light does.
It rains/snows and freezes where i am so it wont work for me but maybe someone can make it work for them selves :)

I know that but I'm just saying that if you were to put it down there, it would make it look like an underglow kit.
