Changing 35d vacuum hoses, how to access under intake manifold?
 

I have all the vacuum lines replaced on the hot side and now I am starting on the intake side. Access is limited as the transfer case block access from the under side. How is it best to get to these? They plug into a plastic pipe that probably will break if I pull on it. If I remove the EGR valve behind the "throttle" I may be able to get my hand it. Removing the intake manifold would also work. Ideas?

I replaced all my vacuum lines on my 2011 35d and had to remove the intake manifold. It's actually very straight forward however just know there are a couple connection on the backside you'll need to disconnect first.

Remove the intake manifold. Its not hard, and there is an excellent write up on how to do it on one of these forums

In the DIY pictures, I can see a couple of the vacuum hoses running towards the back of the engine. Can I get to their termination points once the intake is off? Also, my engine bay partition parts are broken and will be replaced. Is the intake easier to get off with the drivers side partition removed? Is so I will wait for more parts (intake gaskets) to arrive :) before I change the partitions.
