Best E70 Engine Mounts? 3.0 6cyl
Hi All!
Longtime reader, first post. I have a 2007 E70 X5 6cyl. Looking at OEM mounts: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/22116865145/ Also looking at aftermarket Febi: 50% off in cost https://www.oembimmerparts.com/BMW-X...116865145a.htm I also heard there are "Upgraded" versions out there, but I cant seem to figure out what they are and if worth it. Im not a racer, I just want a smooth ride, an at least 30K miles before having to visit this again. This is to fix 600rpm vibration in D or R (not in N or P). Mechanic inspected and confirmed. He said get OEM, but I wanted to check with you guys. Let me know what you think. Thanks! -david |
If you know a good, cheap place to get em, would love to know where you shop.
Thanks! |
I too am ready to blow my brains out with this vibration. I was looking at them at parts geek. 55 bucks from Bilstein. Discount Auto Parts Online -- PartsGeek.com - Domestic & Import Auto Parts Warehouse is my #1 go to for parts for the fleet.

Did you guys ever get these mounts replaced? Did it fix this idle/low RPM vibration you've been referencing? New e70 owner, 86k miles on the 30i.....like you said, shoot me in the face!

ECS seems to have a decent price on the "replacement" part number
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/22116865145/ Previous part numbers being 22116780259 22116778191 22116795416 Maybe they changed them to last a little longer? |
ECS overrated and most of the time overpriced. Especially their shipping rates. Checkout thebmwminiparts.com (dealer in Cincinnati) and/or FCP Euro.

I Replaced them all and the issue is now resolved.
