X5 35D DPF Delete

Hi All,

Long time lurker and avid forum reader. I joined because my 2010 x5 just hit 100k miles and started to exhibit the signs of my DPF starting to go (longer regen, more often, worsening gas mileage). So, I'm thinking about taking the plunge.

I read a lot about commanderwiggin and his tune and seems like he's having a lot of luck with it. I found these guys: www.bmwdpf.com. They sell the downpipe with the gsr teknik tune that commanderwiggin has. Unless someone has a better suggestion (the real reason I'm here, looking for any other suggestions), I think I am going to go with them.

Thoughts?

Yeah, not really very helpful there buddy...

first link is for UK and not even similar to our cars.

second one is a nice thread of videos, but no real substance.

You can contact me anytime if you have questions, regardless of where you are going to buy the parts and the flash. I have over 10k happy miles with restriction-free exhaust and head-snapping 450/550 ;)

Perhaps you didn't read my first comment. I did a lot of reading and a lot of searching. That's why I was pleased to find someone that sold the "kit" with a tune that has proven to be really good. I merely asked if there were better options. Your post provided absolutely 0 "help"

Apparently your extensive research didn't find Bawareca's post where he tunes and sells this service. Don't be a Dick, you came for help, i posted something that may help you. Say thanks and keep looking/waiting for others to respond if it isnt something that you aren't looking.
