Little help.

I have check engine light on my 2009 BMW Diesel X5. I went to AutoZone, and they gave me P124D and P2062. I googled it but cannot find any answers.

Just enter the code and "BMW". not both codes, one at a time. Not X5 either...these issues are common to every diesel BMW.

You going to DIY, or shop?

Both of those codes could be related to a clogged DEF injector. Bimmerfest - BMW Forums - View Single Post - Reducing agent metering valve actuation fault. The injector is easy to remove and inspect. Do you have access to a BMW scanner? The BMW specific codes may offer more clues.

The injector is easy to see under the car. Just crawl under the passenger side and look at the top side of the pipes.

TRF Performance X5 35D Stage 1 or 2 flash tune for my car, does anyone know if I can pass the state emission test with this? Thanks in advance. I want to delete the my DEF.
