I just plugged in an emulator. Took 10 minutes and worked perfectly.

I have this issue now. $1400 quote from the dealer. Did the eBay item you purchased require you to clear any codes afterwards?

No, it didn't! Which is really cool, because I had heard that might be the case.

I forget which supplier I bought from, but their wiring instructions for my truck were wrong.

I eventually figured it out, though, and haven't thought about it since!
