The OP needed Arnott airbag I believe, not air springs unless they are the same thing of course. In any event, I found my 2011 X5 X50i(M package) with a right side sag today and I was shocked. The vehicle was on a lift last Wednesday for a general checkup and now the sag... not sure if that had to do anything with it. In any event, the car self leveled after driving it in the neighborhood and will check up on it in the morning to see if the airbag holds or not. Will update.

They are the same thing, people kinda use them interchangeably

Could be. The airbags develop little cracks- which can open up or close up depending on how the suspension is loaded or how the airbags sit at the moment. Hanging from the lift can lead to a leak. Not really a 'cause' per se, but a factor in exposing the failure.

Classic symptom- the bags loose air and it tilts. But then after you start the compressor will pump it back up. It may be back down in the AM, or it may have 'self healed' and may not show a tilt for days or weeks.

But you know what to do. New bag almost surely.

I assume these are the recommended lifetime warrantied Arnott springs:

Even cheaper from FCP Euro...

Did the new air springs solve your problem?
Does anyone have a diagram of the fuses to locate the Air Compressor?
thx

The Air Compressor is located below the protective shield under the front passengers seat. What symptoms are you experiencing?

One of the DIYs, probably more than one, recommend pulling the compressor fuse so it doesn't try inflating while you're working. I couldn't find a diagram so just went for it...

In the rear passenger fuse box, pulling fuse 107 will disable the compressor
