Retrofit Premium Sound Package Option & DVD, Need Advice
 

Hey All,

I have come accross a wrecked x5 with the goodies I can strip.
Can any of you tell me the following:

- Can I pull the DVD Changer from the glov box an retro it into my 2008 X5 Sport Edition SAV? What parts should I pull?

- Is it possible to pull the the Premium Sound Option form the wrecked car and move it into my? What parts should I pull?

Well, I did get the DVD Changer for the glove box. I can't seem to locate the connector in my car to plug it into.

Can anyone help.

In almost 7 years of ownership I played DVD only once, and it was only during my first endeavor into coding, while testing video in motion.

With smartphones, ipads and all that, why bother? On the other hand, some are into vinyl, so...

"why bother"... because I choose to.

Anyone else?
