2007 E70 X5 3.0 VANOS solenoid access

Hello,

Does anyone have advice on how to access the VANOS solenoids on a 2007 X5 3.0? I've seen a couple of youtube videos replacing the solenoids on an N52 but those are in a X3 or 3er. It seems like the access is more limited in the E70.

Remove the metal bar held in place w/ 4 bolts that runs behind the radiator and you'll be able to reach the solenoids.
