Brakes
 

So Im going through my garage and what do I find. A box of 2008 X5 Parts.

Front and rear brake pads and rotors inparticular. Ive done some digging and the part numbers for the front rotors, the first five are a mismatch and the last numbers are identical. Im assuming Ill be able to use them but was wondering if any of y'all have been through it. Any Thoughts? Seeing as how the 2008-2010 are virtually IDENTICAL but knowing BMW they probably moved something a 12th of an inch to the left. which constitutes a totally different part number.

Dang!! I wish I could find some parts for my X5 like that!! ;) But I would be safe and check with my indy mechanic just to make sure they would fit.

I am the indy mechanic. I guess I'll give it the old fashioned college try and see what happens. I'm sure they'll be fine. If push comes to shove I'll call BMW and buy a couple rotors.
