Comfort Access playing up
 

Has anyone had their comfort access play up like this:

Unlocks but then locks itself again immediately, or the reverse, when leaving the car I touch the top section to lock, it locks, then immediately or a few seconds after unlocks itself.

Interestingly it's 'ok' today. Seems like it may be related to wet weather?

When I wash my X5, my CA goes crazy unlocking/locking. Otherwise, it works as it should.

Only problems I've had with CA has been due to either a vehicle or key fob battery that was on it's way out.

Yeah my first thought was key battery although I hadn't changed it long ago. I put a new battery in it before this test. Could be the vehicle battery I suppose but no other symptoms and completed a long journey yesterday before taking this video so should have been topped up.

AUC warranty expires at the end of next month so I guess I should book in - problem is if it's working fine when I take it in to the dealers they'll just say it's working correctly.

Sounds like the truck's battery. I had many of these types of things happen with comfort access. As soon as I put in a new battery, all good again!

Thanks guys, going to see whether I can get that replaced under warranty. Also suspicious of my turbos as they whine for quite a while when cold - they didn't used to do that.
