to chip or not to chip
 

that long dreaded question, my x5 is a 3.0 Diesel, armored. (I have some pictures of it here). therefore a bit on the heavy side. I do feel that turbo lag quite a bit. I have read that is fairly safe to chip diesels.

25k miles on it.
no warranty (since it got armored).

I have been looking at some that plug in the common rail.
