Active Tank on 35D
 

I got a CEL last week and used Carly to pull up these codes. Both of the codes have to do with the Active Tank. The codes are 004BAC and 00492C. I remembered getting a letter from BMW extending the warranty on the Active Tank for 10 years and or 120,000 miles. I am currently at 112K. I brought it to the dealer and they replaced the active tank under warranty.

And the 120k mile warranty is widely known here, thanks for the reminder though. It may still help someone.

They wont honor it unfortunately if you are over. Mine failed at 122k and the dealer and BMW NA refused a good will repair. But that is okay, just an excuse to go full ABC delete :)

Couple of days ago I got CEL with P203A or 004BAC (Reductant Level Sensor Circuit) code. Took it to the dealer and they replaced active tank and hose under warranty (10 years/120k miles).
