I saw that on the 335d thread but once i was under my sav, it didn't appear to be a simple job...lol....cleaner the intercooler definitely would have been a good thing to do. Either way it's out of my hands now. Lol

I ran into the same problems on the bottom side (decided not to mess with top part) - it took me two days and some bloody knuckles to get that thing back in. I had wrapped this as part of replacing idler pulley, T-stat, fuel filter, and water pump. Was a long long day for me

Final update on the job. The mechanic had the same issue i had. Turns out when i removed the spring clip, i pulled it apart a little bit too much and therefore it wouldn't seat properly. He got it in place and pried it back to where it should be. Just drove over 2000kms with it and no issues.
