After 9 years....I am back!!!
2 Attachment(s)
Some of you may know me back in 2008 having the Blue X5, after getting rid of it and got my 330i, as of yesterday, I am now back to X family. It is a 2007 4.8i with 80K miles. After test driving quite a handful around 100ish miles, I found her and engine felt great and doesn't feel like she is abused. Nice to see all of you guys again!
The other picture is what I just sold. I am currently living in CA but will be moving to Colorado next month so I need an AWD. |
Welcome back!
Nice car, We look forward using your experience! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Welcome back! I just got into another E53 and came back to this site when I bought a replacement earlier this year.
I also traded/got rid of my old E53 in 2008. |

What is your plan on the new X5?
I am new to bmw as of last October. It has kept my handy dirty since then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not really. I've got some , actually only two, jobs to perform on it: the oil filter housing/oil cooler gasket change, and the actuator motor gear replacement. Both are pretty straightforward. Then I'll be doing some research on mods. To me mods are just like jailbreaking your iPhone. Not sure it's worth playing around with original settings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Maintenance comes first. Its cheap insurance then extra would be for mods. But for me, nothing to do with engine nor transmission. Mods I put are all cosmetic. I have no issues are right now but I will be replacing few parts within 10K miles for sure or before it reaches 100K so we'll see Keep in touch! |
Welcome Back, and Titz wheels on your new E70!
