X5 e70 2007 cut out

Hi everyone .. hope you can help me

My car drives and goes then randomly dies and goes into neutral. I stop take key out the replace then it goes again .. then it will randomly do it again ..

motor? Miles? servie history? any warnings? ever? codes?

Have your indy look at it. It must be throwing some codes.
