Key one has M1 and M2
Key two has M1 and M2

So when do you switch the keys between one and two and you unlock and lock your car, how do you know which setting the driver seat goes to? There are four possibilities.

Thank god the car's CAS system knows which one it is...even if the owners don't. :)

You can identify which key is key 1 & key 2 (or use other symbols) using the key labels available from the part database. So if you have two remote keys with two different M1 & M2 settings...then you should do something that visually identifies each key so that each driver will know what key they've picked up and if they may need to use the memory buttons on the seats:

If you're talking about the auto adjust (either at ignition or door open) I think that's based on the last position the seat/wheel was in and which key was used. Irrelevant of M1/M2. I haven't even touched the buttons, but I have my designated key and my wife has hers. I should try to use M1/M2 on the passenger side though.

Unfortunately my wife's key is CAS enabled, and mine isn't. It's her DD. But there have been times where it gets confused, I unlock and open the door, it adjusts to my settings. Then I pop the key in and for whatever reason adjusts to her settings. Pop it out, lock/unlock/open and it goes back to mine.

To clarify, let's just say your M1 in your M2 are different settings for key one. Would you unlock and lock key one, does it go to seat setting of M1 does it go to M2? Or does it go just to last setting?

I'm not sure what you're asking. There needs to be involvement to set M1 or M2. I haven't played with it, but I'm sure it's like a press and hold or something like that to save it.

Just getting out and locking saves it to the fob. Unlocking/inserting key (this is an option for which) the next time will adjust back to this setting, if necessary.

To break it down. You adjust seat/wheel to X, Y, Z. You get out, lock door. Driver B comes in with Fob B, adjusts seat to A, B, C. No touching of the memory buttons. When Fob A is used to unlock the door, seat position X, Y, Z is loaded in automatically.
