Makes sense to me. :D

  1. Nothing listed means you have standard suspension (coil springs)
  2. S220A listed means you have self leveling rear suspension
  3. S2VAA listed means you have adaptive drive suspension (which includes rear self leveling {S220A})
  4. S4UBA listed means "3rd row" which also includes rear self leveling suspension {S220A})

Occasionally I will see 225 standard suspension, not sure on the discrepancy there.

S225A is deleted sport suspension...which means it similar to a cowboy that's all hat and no cattle. :)

You will have the cosmetics of a "sport model" (anthracite headliner, sportier/wheels, perhaps shadowline trim, maybe special bumpers or other ext/int trim etc)...but will be sans any true sport handling features like lowered-tuned suspension, lowered geared rear diff, or high stall speed torque converter, etc.

I hope mine doesn't have air suspension since this thing has enough bells and whistles that can fail as it is.

Its still pouring rain here but I have been paying attention since this thread when getting in and I think the sound is the fuel pump like mentioned.

I never had a bmw that did that before so never considered that it could be running the fuel pump just by opening the door.

To show how little I have paid attention to the thing since buying it I found out last night it has electric folding mirrors. Didn't even notice that till now.

Its more like welcome to the bmw update 2.0.

They didn't used to cost much to keep on the road.
