The heat never gets hot, regardless of setting. Didn’t realize you were referring to the FSR - these symptoms do not match typical FSR problems, and yes I can see why people might dub it a porcupine. Upon checking again, when I crank the temp from 72 up to 84, the fan speed will increase one or two levels. I will look to see if there’s anything impairing the temp probe, but at this stage I’m leaning towards a water valve issue. The air is basically cold or at best lukewarm when set to 73, when it should feel warm.

Th manual mode sort of ignores the digital temp. I have found that you need to adjust the temp (for manual mode) by going to settings/climate/ either driver or passenger air temp. You just spin the idrive dial after getting there. Good luck.
