2013 x5 m package, should i buy?
I'm in the market again for another X5 and I found one 2013 35i with M package, 62k miles with warranty left until 75K from an original owner.
We settled at $19500 I had an 01 4.4 X5 and sold it when it hit 100k miles and it was a great car aside from some basic maintenance, the biggest one was the water cooled alternator which cost me $850 at indy place, my replacement was a 06 4runner, I sold my 4runner with 147k miles and it ran like new, never ever any problems, my dilemma is, do I really want to get into another BMW ? |

I have a hate hate relationship with my 2011. Its more dealership based, as all the local dealers are owned by the same group. I'll call it a Cartel.
Check for accidents and recalls. My front driveshaft broke and took out the transmission. Later found out it was a recall. Rear suspension air bags burst. Pay special attention to the oil filter and cooler. There are two 25 cent gaskets in there that cost $1k to repair. Love driving it. Days off the road for non servicing items. 2018-6 / 2017-34 / 2016-108 |

I did almost exactly what you did when I traded in my 01 X5 4.4 with 235K miles on it. My 13' 3.5 M package is a better car in almost every way and i am very pleased with it. I added a 5 year 100K mile extended warranty on it for $3.5K and am not concerned about repairs. Good luck.
