Installing new injectors, code with what software?
I have a 2011 X5 with the N55. Im going to be replacing all of my injectors and wanted to know what program I could use to enter in the new adjustment values.
I installed INPA only to realize that I will not be able to do it with INPA. I was told I could do it with BMW DIS, but it requires so much physical memory that i would probably have to but another laptop. Looking for alternatives. |
Bump, anyone?

Some have done it with tool32. Search for tool32 coding injectors n55, hopefully you find the thread

Rheingold?
See this. |
I did mine with INPA. It's a little buried in the menu (and in german - I had phone in one hand with google translate). The entry format is a little cryptic but they give you an example to go by.

There are youtube videos on doing this with ISTA

Thanks for the replies. I do have tool32 already, so Ill have to check that option. Downloading ISTA would be a good idea as well.
I also found out that a tool made by Foxwell could code injectors. Model is NT510. Theres a similar one sold by ECS Tuning branded Schwaben. If someone wants to avoid dealing with the cable, INPA etc that seems to be a good route. Foxwell NT510 Scanner with Free Car Brand Software +OBD |
I did it with INPA on my 335. Was pretty easy.
