There is significant airflow in the inner fender space when you drive. It will push the leaked fluid up toward the cabin air filters, and leak in from there.

This may be stating the obvious, but you've got to find the leak(s). You can refill the reservoir to see where it's pouring out. You may need to take off the inner fender to see what's going on; if you do, make sure you have a plastic riveter on hand:

It's possible that you had crappy washer fluid with a high freezing point, and something burst due to the cold. I used to use a quick lube place near me that I swear filled up cars with fluid that had no alcohol at all. One degree below freezing and the washer nozzles would freeze and become useless.
