I get a lot of tire noise below 50 mph. Are you still on run flat tires? Those are even noisier. Your other BMWs never came with RF tires right?

You cant even tell the 3.0 is running other than the tach. The V8 is probably way different though.

I own an e70 3.0 si, an e60 -530, an F10 535xi and also an e39. These are obviously different vehicles but in overall I love the e70’s “tank” feeling, it reallly feels wide and well poised on the road. I would love to have the e60’s active steering on my e70 and the comfort seats + newer idrive from the F10; that will be the perfect combination IMHO.

Interestingly, when all family + kids are going out we favour the X5 always vs the other cars. It is “slow” compared with the other bmws and again, the steering feels extremely “long” but in overall it is our preferred option to go out. Just my 5cents....
