New E70 Owner
 

A former E53 owner, I just purchased an 07 E70 4.8i monaco blue on tan X5. I got a pretty good deal I think at $11k - she has 74.5k miles on her and all maintenance is up to date and done at the dealership. She needs some love though to get everything to where it needs to be and this is what I love to do.

Excited to be back in an X and just wanted introduce myself to the community. I joined this forum when it was X5WORLD and see that it has changed a bit.

Congrats and welcome. You might be the only one with less miles than me for the age ha--mine is an '08 with 96K miles. I, too, came from an e53 (9 years) and now on year 8 on an e70.

Prolly need to change fluids, dealers only do engine oil usually....

I was surprised to find mine locally with such low mileage. She's the third vehicle so I hope to continue to keep the miles low.

Had no idea that's why the domain name change. Crazy.

I personally don't consider maintenance done at the dealership a bad thing but agree that the fluids need to get changed as we most know the intervals are a bit higher than we necessarily want them to be.

2009 with 43,000 here. ;)
