Yes Another misfire thread 2011 e70 N55 codes 29d0, 2d13

Been a lurker on here for a while and this is my first post. Just want to say this is a great community and it has helped me greatly so far.

I've searched this forum and e90post before posting

currently have a 2011 35i with just over 100k miles no modifications or tune. Changed maf sensor a few weeks ago because I was getting misfire on cylinder 4 29d0 and Maf code 2d13 (air mass sensor, rationality) at the same time. I tried to the clean the old maf sensor but that didn't work and it looked like debris was stuck on the needle, so I ended up buying a new maf sensor and the codes disappeared on their own.

I changed the spark plugs (BMW ZR5TPP33S Spark Plug - Bosch 0242145518) on Friday and got a slight rough idle on the first start up but that disappeared. This past sunday the same codes are back again after some spirited highway driving.

I was thinking on changing the coil on cylinder 4 but don't want to thow money at it without solving the problem.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Switch the coil from #4 to a different location.

Research the fire order and swap it as far away as you can (i.e. Swapping to the adjacent firing position is NOT a good idea)

Any chance you have an air leak? Have you looked at AFR/Fuel trim numbers?
