From 469M Rep Wheels to Style 491 OE Wheels & Tires

So I was able to snatch a deal yesterday for a set of OEM Black wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow on 275/315 Staggered setup for under 1K and oh, TPMS sensors are included. The wheel is style 491 black and cost about $700-$1000 from the dealers per wheel and the the Scorpions costs about $400ish per tire. The tires have a lot of thread still, about 9/32. Ran into hailstorm yesterday on my way there plus traffic and Friday rush commute so it took me about nearly 2 hours from Denver to Colorado Springs (71 miles apart). I must say it's worth the trip!

The setup is so much better compared to the replica I got and Motivo tires. You definitely get what you pay for. Installed them this morning and drove for miles in a very foggy morning as shown on pics. The OE wheels feel lighter and not heavy (although the weight difference between the two is not that much of a difference and OE is heavier) unlike the reps and it doesn't feel like you're dragging something a bit or it's like it's rubbing into something. More quiet and the grip on wet road is phenomenal. I'm surprised about them being Run Flat which we know are hated by a lot of car owners. First pic below is the old 469M rep I had. Sorry for the dirty E70!

Those are "OE" wheels, not OEM. FWIW.

The wheels and your X5 look great! Love the backdrop as well.

Very nice truck. You have my complete admiration for the lci body conversion. Would love to do that to the wife's diesel but can't justify the cost.

On topic, I prefer the look of your reps but quality of the OE wheels. I'm not a fan of black wheels, but that's just a personal taste thing.

Thank you! Sold my OEM parts to cover the cost of the conversion so I ended up not spending much for the it. I am blessed to have Space Gray buyers in my area who needed the parts badly so yeah it became almost nothing as far as the total cost.

Yeah the reps color doesn't seem identical to the OE same style wheels, it looked like they're cheap alloy so that kinda bothered me but I like the gray colored part. I know how some of us are not into black wheels and I do understand and respect that completely so no worries and thank you! I just personally prefer black and dark color wheels on any body color except black.

Update: Just sold the reps now on CL denver, sooner than I expected.
