Mechanic screwed up oil pan job? drive line bind now
I recently had my X5 with the 3.0 (N52) oil pan leak " fixed" under warranty. Upon receiving the vehicle, I noticed when turning the wheel sharp or lock to lock. I experienced " drive line bind" or vibration during acceleration or deceleration. :wow:
What could have the mechanic possibly done wrong? Is that a issue with the splines not lining up in the transfercase? Or is the drive shaft rubbing against something? I called them right away and said something isn't right. I know the drive shaft goes through the oil pan area into the T-case and front diffs. |
