X5 35d - 452A and 4A6F codes
 
Hello peeps,
I hope someone could shed some light on the following. I got a CEL, and according to Carly, here are the 2 codes that my X5 35d is throwing (452A and 4A6F). They came up after a fuel filter change. Beside the codes, car starts and runs fine.

If you reset, do they come back??

210km so 130kmiles?

for some reason i am thinking that 452a DPF code is 'informational' ...as in 'you need to replace the DPF soon

Looks like you had a glow plug code at 25k kms? Some time ago. Then one recently. Might need new plugs/controller.

Yes, the same fault codes come back once reset.
I checked and the last regen occurred 85 km ago. Probably, even with the regens, carbon built up is too much by now.
One thing to add; I’ve been having a leak from the connector that sits just on top of the glow plug controller. Possibly all the coolant dripping on the controller has damaged it.
