X5 E70 Missing Aux Cable?

Hi All,
I own a 07 E70 X5 4.8, and noticed my aux input wasn't working. When I took the panel in the center glovebox off to check the wire, the wire was not there. The aux plugin is there, but there is no wire connected to it. Does anyone know where it could be relocated to? Or where the wire originates from so I can chase it down? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!

Thank you front this resource! By schematic do you mean wiring diagram? I found the diagram but am not sure how to read it or understand it. Thanks for the help
