towing weight
 

i realize that the towing weight of an x5 3.0d is 2.7ton but i would love it if it was 3.5t.
now i had read confusing reports from the U.k. that many models over there are listed as 3.5ton towing,to anyones knowledge are any vehicles over here the same.
can you get it upgraded?

Germany usually requires 5% tongue weight, US requires 10%, not sure about Australia.
The tongue weight is probably the limiting factor.
