That thing is just soo flat through the curves, and I saw just a touch over oversteer on some turns! Incredible. Did anyone else think it looked really low to the ground? Possibly different suspension than production...

i think it will suck for us with the current 3.0's and 4.4's when the new 3.0 will have the 255hp engine and the top of the line for now will be the 4.8 engine...ohh well i'll still love my X no matter what else comes out!

isn't going to suck for the 315hp 4.4's, might for the 225hp 3.0's though.

That handling did look amazing for a SUV and yah, it looked lower to the ground.

If base V8s get 360hp 4.8L then I guessing the high-powered version will be in excess of 400+hp. Quite possibly with turbocharge.

Or quite possibly a lower bhp,high torque V10 from the M5/M6.

It may be the disguising, but anybody else think it looked a tad "minivanish"?

As previously posted, it may be due to the lowered suspension.

I read somehwere that the next gen high end X5 will be V10 5.0. It will aslo wear a ///M badge. To be released in 2007.
