LCI tail light conversion
Hello. I ve got a bmw e70 non lci and i want to make the conversion to LCI tail lights, they look gorgeous.
Should i buy oem used tail lights or new aftermarket ones ? If you have any experience with AM tail lights, you can share it. I d appreciate very much :D Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Curious as wel. The Depo LCI retrofit tail lights are enticing. Anyone have experience with them?

Hi,
I have OE LCI Tails on my pre-LCI 4.8, much improved for sure. Having had bad experiences with aftermarket lights in the past, I couldn't take the chance again. There are always a bunch of used LCIs on eBay... Thanks, John |
I'd generally consider Depo to be just a step above merely functional.
|
I've had the Depo for 2 years now. No problems at all. Due to limited garage space, car is parked outside. No leaks or cracks, etc. Great upgrade!

5Xtheproblems, thanks for the update. Can you post a few pics with the brake lights on? Considering grabbing a set for $400. |
I see the opinions are split. Hmm...

Has ANYONE ever seen their tail lights when driving?
(I suppose backing into a spot at night in front of a glassfront store....) ;) |

Will do once I get off work. & yes, I enjoy unlocking the car and seeing the LCI LED bars glow as opposed to the pre-LCI strips. Sure, I don't see them while driving, but they're there for other's viewing pleasure ;pervert; |
