iDrive External Media Issue

Hello there,

I drive a 2012 X5 and I have been having issues with playing music from my iPhone. After starting my car and plugging my phone in, I will drive about 50 feet and the audio from my phone will disconnect. Does anybody know about this issue and have any solutions?
