Bought a pair of used Pirelli P Zero Rosso. Manuf in Dec 2006
 

Got a good deal on them and they appear to be in good shape. But noticed they are manufactured 1206 :(


I assume these are not safe to run as they are pretty old?

I wouldn't. I just had to replace the rear 325/35r20 Pirello Pzero's on the rear of my E53 X5 due to sidewall cracking from age. Separation was probably imminent. They were manufactured 4714 and 4814. So "only" 5 years old. Still had ~5/32nds tread left.

If you do run those tires, keep a VERY close eye on them.

I wouldn't use them, but that's just me, and most tire shops won't mount tires that are more than 10 years old...
Assuming you aren't doing it yourself, of course.
