A diesel high pressure fuel pump, is running and pumping fluid under tremendous pressure into a dynamic system which has 6 'outlets' (fuel injectors)

As it runs, at speed, you get a nice rhythmic pulsing- fluid enters, fluid exits...everything is happy. Pump spins... every 40 usec a pulse happens.

But then one injector takes a crap. AS a result, the nice "every 40 usec" rhythm is interrupted.

Does this result in a odd 'torsional vibration' in that fuel pump??

Id replace #6.

Thank you - it’s looking like that may be the culprit - hard to be sure as the codes at times seem to be “guidelines” versus exact

I checked the resistance on 6 injectors and 5 & 6 were out of spec. I replaced both because the partitions broke and flooded those injectors
