MTX Speaker review
 

Hi all, long time lurker first time poster.

Firstly, thanks to all contributors, great that we help each other.

I have the base sound system in my X5 and upgraded the speakers with MTX BMW speaker system.

Firstly, this kit isn’t plug and play but close. You have to remove a small lip off the door trim that the speaker mounts on, the rest is easy.

The sound quality difference is night and day! So much better. I did not add an amplifier.
