Horrible grinding noise from either diff or transfer case
 

I still can't seem to solve this issue and have changed both the front and read diff fluids


I will change the transfer case fluid soon so hopefully that will fix the issue


Anyone have ideas?

It's a bit difficult to hear but it's really noticeable near the end

Not sure if I’m hearing the door or if that “swooshi-squeeek” there at the end is it?

Maybe try it again in a parking lot aiming the camera at driver front, driver rear, pass front, pass rear to try and isolate the noise to one end / one side and see what you come up with.

With grinding it can really be a lot of things, diff, wheel bearing, gravel caught between turning parts, gravel in a brake... etc.

See if you can get a more isolated video and I’ll keep an eye out for the update [emoji106]

Ive never considered a fluid change to be an appropriate repair for "a horrible grinding noise"
