NOx sensor circuit bank 1
 

Hi, my X5 is 35d at 180k km. A few days throw out an error p2200 NOx sensor circuit bank 1. Does anyone know where this sensor is located, or what's the part num?

Just so you know.... on most cars the idea that 'code=part' is fraught with sorrow.


On a BMW diesel, it is WAY more so.


Replace the sensor...but know there are multiple sensors, a CAT and other parts that may be leading to your code. Also, is that a BMW-specific code reader? If you are serious on repairs, may consider one.

I just have a generic code reader. Any recommendations for this? I was looking at Carly. But see mixed review. Not sure which one is good.

I understand code is not about part numbers.
I don't see anyone does this emissions and sensors related replacement...
