trouble removing valve cores from tpms

So, last fall I picked up a set of staggered 20" M-sport wheels with new directional tires on them from CL to replace my stock 18" tires/wheels. The "new" wheels don't have TPMS sensors in them, so my plan was to swap from stock wheels or recode to FTM.

After three install attempts I never got my cable/laptop working with INPA/etc. & have been using a Schwabben/510 for most tasks.

Now it's time to "rotate" fronts (remount in this case) & I figured step one to swap sensors was deflate the old tires prior to dismounting. Trouble is I can't get the valve cores out. Is there a trick to it? I now see that TPMS valve service kits at a minimum are recommended & I wouldn't have an qualms with buying new valves if need be, but not investing in new sensors.

Also, any experience using balancing beads in the M-sport/M sized tires/wheels? A friend uses them consistently w/good results in Harleys and his truck, but these are kinda low profile & I'm cynical.

Same friend has tire mounting and balancing equipment, so strictly DIY

TIA...

My friend, who also has mounting and balancing equipment -in his basement, lol- found one of my cores stuck. I'm already ftm, so if need be I'd swap to a regular valve stem. Not sure on the beads... He said tires have ridges inside and he thinks the beads won't move freely. The nokian a/s suv tires balanced easily but I have 18s.

It looks like the sensors & the valves are each separate units? So spraying a little WD-40 or PB blaster into the valve should not harm the sensor right?

I don't think so and when you fill it you'll push the residual oil out of the stem.

The secvice kits include the valves and seals. The valve and seal is replaced during tire replacement. The valve has to be removed to install the TPMS and then installed to fix the sensor on the wheel. I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish.

I believe the factory valve have a hollow stem allen head screw that threads thru the TPMS sensor into the valve stem that mounts in the wheel's hole

Trying to remove the valves from old wheels (in order to remove the sensors) I first need to deflate the tire & unmount. Cannot get the valve cores out of the valves to deflate.

Secondary questions for all:
These new wheels appear to be a Z102 replica...can't find many instances, but a 10-spoke and code JJ (4x4 SUV). What length TPMS valves do I need to get? They currently have rubber valves since no TPMS installed, and seem pretty short. Measured to base of threads or end of valve?

Gotcha. Might have to do it the old fashioned (slower) way and just push the valve in. I've also sliced a tire open with my knife to deflate it. If you know where the wheels came from, Tischer was very helpful in getting my new wheels up and running with new TPMS and valves.
