Can’t speak for all models, but on my car there are cables (maybe what you’re calling harness, sort of like bike brake cables) that run from the actuator to each brake assembly. One of mine broke which caused the fault.

It could be a module; I don't know which one but I'd guess the FRM which has its issues. Maybe the JBE module? Then there's the EMF module itself. You've replaced the actuator, I gather, but not the EMF module? Then I'm thinking of all the interconnecting wiring. I get the frustration. I troubleshot a PDC error that ultimately turned out to be chafed wiring. That took some time to find.

I know due to not having broken bowden cables before and after i switched the parking brake module plus new cables, as for the programing i did it through nscs but i will be running an series of electrical tests between the parking brake switch and module harness
