Radio update that includes Nav?

Is there a radio unit that is available to add Nav to a 2010 X5 that isn't so outfitted from the factory? Crutchfield doesn't recommend any units, It looks like it isn't cost effective to use the factory parts.

AVIN USA might do an android unit. At least they are US based.

Looks like you would need to already have Nav, and a nav antena for that one.

IMO you should focus on a phone based solution, instead of some oddball add on.

Its funny, I didnt even know Crutchfield was still around, haven't looked for a aftermarket stereo in years. It came up in a google search.

Most of the Android units I looked at allow you to use a downloaded nav app. You can use the unit supplied nav antenna or retrofit a factory. We have the factory nav in the '13 and it seldom gets used. I would usually only use nav for the last quarter mile in most cases or to spot when to turn into the road my destination in on.
In rural SW MO you are better off learning 3 different routes to any place you hold important because roads and bridges can disappear in one good gullywhomper.
