I too have a similar 'popping' sound that comes from the front of the car when turning the wheel at low speeds (less than 10 mph). I do not know what is causing it, but I am not sure if it is the same as yours.

Mines sounds more like a spring clunking noise though.

I can think of a a few possibilities... spring perch; sway bar end link; tie rod end; strut-to-body top bushing;




Anyone jack their car up and look underneath? or is this a 'keyboard diagnosis'???

Hi, another test day....

Tie rod ok
Lower control arm ok
Sway bars ok

The noise is not visible:s

Fail wheel hub?is possible? Rotors?

This clicks drives me crazy :s

Have you had anything done with the brake pads recently?

I had something very similar after some work on the brakes and the noise turned out to be the brake pad retaining clip was not located properly.
It was a definite clunking, pop type noise at low speeds.
Sorted in 5 mins by knocking it in place with a large screwdriver.
