^Do a google search for the tire model that's on your truck. Easy as that.

I prefer non-run flats personally and have only been left with a flat in one BMW I've owned. And it was due to a faulty valve stem not a puncture. Have towing through insurance and CC with the X5's so I switched from RF's.

Read the sidewall.

I run Michelin latitude HP ZP (ZP=zero pressure=run flat)

Wifes car. I run non RF Michelins on 4 other cars.

I only see one tire but anyway, it's the Michelin Latitude Tour HP ZP. Great tire, excellent run flat. If you want a fantastic conventional tire, the Michelin Premier LTX has been very impressive. I have a 2011 X5d with 255/50R19.

If I buy a car with runcraps on it, it's the first thing I'll negotiate. They either replace the tires with something non runcrap, or knock off enough cash for me to go purchase new tires.

Which runcraps do you avoid?

I just purchased non-run flat tires for my X5 due to a existing tire (run flat) busting a belt on the highway. Not sure if it was abuse from all the potholes around here or what. Regardless I drove the 10+ miles home on the bad tire with no issues, so I guess that’s a run flat positive. As for my decision on going to non run flat I would say it’s a bit more cost effective for my X with 150k, and I noticed a much smoother ride when I switch to non run flats on my 335.

I have dropped the horrible Bridgestone RFs on my e70 long ago. Good riddance. I generally dislike Bridgestones, they get hard in a few seasons and give no traction and a horrible ride.

On my e53 I had some Michelin ZPs and I agree that they are just as comfy as non-RF. However, the weight difference between Mich ZP and non-ZP is astounding. I never had a flat on the e70 and so it has never really worried me other than on long drives (which were rather seldom.)

Now that I am in Europe with the e70, I am carrying a spare (I have a 3rd row). It is on Michelin Tours. I find the tours, comfortable, durable and quite. I have run a bunch of them on other cars as well and they are my go-to tire whenever available.

I bought an X5 35D with runflats and couldn't ditch them fast enough. They are rough riding due to there stiff sidewalls. I could feel every bump on the road with a jar and am thankful to never have to ride on a set again.

Same here. That was actually my first purchase for the X5 aside from gas. Within a week of ownership I bought all 4 regular tires and spare tire kit.
