Service warning no start link?
2013 E7035XI 75K service coming up and the warning light comes on when I start to vehicle. Is there some kind of link to get your attention About the service coming up? It slow starts, won't start and Then fires up like it would normally. Are these indicative of stages of warnings that service is coming up or something entirely different?

It is indicative of something else entirely.
What 75k service is coming up? Battery age and condition? |

It was indeed the battery. It was the original from factory. Almost 7 years old. All is good. She's standing tall again. Thanks everyone. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk |
Good to hear.

Out of curiosity... who did the work and how much did it cost? 10 minutes and $200 is the DIY solution. Dealer usually more. |

Registering a new battery removes the battery aging information from the IBS. This allows for more effective and efficient charging of the new battery. It may lead to longer battery life. The vehicle will still operate without registering a new battery.
Programming the battery type is only required if the battery type is changed from flooded lead-acid (flooded or FLA) to absorbent glass mat (AGM) or vice versa. This allows for battery charging at the appropriate voltages for the battery type in use. This will lead to longer battery life. The vehicle will still operate without programming the new battery type even it's changed. Programming the battery size is only required if the Ampere-hour (Ah) capacity of the new battery differs from the previously installed one. This allows for battery charging at the proper rate. This will likely lead to longer battery life. The vehicle will still operate without programming a new battery capacity even if it's changed. Programming the battery type and size are done in conjunction with each other, i.e., there is a finite number of battery types with corresponding capacities to select from. |
