Aftermarket Fender Flares. Any Good?
 

Does anyone have experience with the aftermarket "sport" fender flares for 20"/21" wheels?

The genuine ones used to be $300, but now they're $425. Knock offs are on ebay for $140.

I just put these on my 2013 x5d last week. They fit great! No complaints at all.

I have used aftermarket flares as well from Ebay. They fit fine 99% of original. But they do have some faint mold lines that are visible on the outside. Not a deal breaker IMO as they don't trigger my OCD... but I could see it bothering some.

Sounds like the aftermarket flares are perfectly adequate for my new to me '11 35d with 98k running X6M 20" reps.

Go to the wreckers or find someone parting out an E70 X5 through Craigslist or similar. That's how I found mine. All 4 OEM fenders for $240 Canadian dollars. What's that about hundred bucks USD ?!!??!!?
