Error code P2096
 

Hello.

My car is E70 x5 3.0si 2007

There was an engine checklight not long ago.

According to the inspection, it was more than an upstream oxygen sensor.

Upstream bank 1,2 has been replaced.

Not long after the replacement, the engine check light came on again.

The fault code is P2096.

This time, we replaced the downstream oxygen sensor.

However, even after replacement, the fault code remains the same.

What should I do this time to get rid of the fault code?

Too much air in your system. Check airbox to be correctly close, check for damaged hoses

What are the odds? I just started a thread about an hour ago with the SAME ISSUE, except mine is with bank 2 (p2098)

Have you checked the vacuum lines and the CCV hoses?
