2008 e70 3.0 - front drive shaft (prop)

Hi All,

Can someone please help explain to me how to remove the front drive shaft (prop). I have it unbolted from the front of the transmission but cant figure out how get move it to remove it from the transfer case so it pops out. I've attached pictures. I can't find any procedure or diy to remove it.
